- Guests must be experienced riders. They must ride regularly (at least once or twice a week) and be comfortable at a canter and gallop as well as being able to do small jumps should they have to.
- On safari we occasionally encounter natural obstacles such as ditches, logs and banks. These are not mandatory, however riders must be capable of jumping or otherwise negotiating them should they have to move away from elephant unexpectedly.
- Our horses are mostly English schooled, so we highly recommend that Western riders have a course of lessons in English style prior to arrival.
- Children under 16 years are not permitted unless exceptionally strong riders and accompanied by their parents.
- Rates are all-inclusive: riding, guiding, accommodation, meals, snacks, drinks and laundry. Gratuities and curio items are optional extras. Cash payments may be made in US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds or South African Rand.
- The Tuli region of Botswana is a low-risk malaria area. Anti-malarial precautions should be taken in this area during the summer months of November through March. You should consult your doctor about this and any other medical precautions.
- All water in the camps is filtered to the highest standards and is guaranteed perfectly safe for drinking.
- A fully stocked bar is available at all times (except when riding!)
- A valid passport is obligatory for those travelling from outside Botswana. If travelling from South Africa, passport holders from some countries will need a re-entry visa for South Africa.
- The following countries do not require a visa to enter Botswana:
- Commonwealth Countries (except Ghana, India, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Pakistan).
