Latest News - Mothabaneng Village Tour
On your safari we also offer you the opportunity to go on a tour of our local village. The tour consists of a pleasant amble through the village and then a stop at the Llalapalm weaving workshop, where you have the opportunity to buy some beautiful crafts. The tour then continues to a sandstone hill where bushmen paintings can still be viewed. The tour ends with a sundowner on top of the hill over looking the Motloutse river.
You are more than welcome to film or take photos of the village. Please note that we do not encouragehanding out sweets to the children. Botswana offers all its citizens good education and the children in this country are some of the most fortunate in Africa. Handing out of gifts/sweets encourages begging from tourists and undermines an educated culture.

We give back to the community by asking for a £10 donation from you. This money goes to the community development centre and is put into the building of schools & health care facilities. An extra £10 is charged for transport to & from the village. All purchases from the craft centre go to the women & development of the craft centre.
